A Chicago Shopping Destination

You guys know me and my love of shopping… You know what I also love, convenience! Running three businesses makes life hectic and having a one stop shop for everything you need is a welcome pleasure. Where’s a place you can find work clothes, workout clothes, home decor, home organization and grab a delicious vanilla latte, get in a great workout and catch dinner and a movie if you have time? Roosevelt Collection Shops in the South Loop is the spot. 

I have a serious soft spot for Roosevelt Collection… In addition to the unique collection of retail stores,  there are gorgeous, sleek, contemporary apartments right above the retail spaces. It was actually the very first apartment I lived in after I moved out of the dorms! When I lived there, the retail space wasn’t open yet. Probably a good thing for my wallet! That was a few years ago… but now! Roosevelt Collection is an urban oasis with an amazing mix of local and national shopping and lifestyle destinations. It’s easy to get to (convenient bus and el stops) and it really has everything you need for a fun day or night out. The theatre also has a bar so you can enjoy a glass of vino while you catch a new flick. 

Last week I popped by Roosevelt Collection to do a little shopping. I first grabbed this yummy iced vanilla latte (seriously so delish) at Bridgeport Coffee to fuel up in order to "do it all" in a short amount of time.  Luckily, everything’s close and easy to navigate on foot! I started off at Banana Republic which is one of my go-to spots for professional wear. Shop my top picks and the bag I’m wearing here:

Afterwards, I popped into Old Navy to get some new active wear. Their active wear is SO good and the prices are even better. Shop my favorites from their active wear line here:

Next, one of my favorites. You guys all know I recently moved and am still in the full swing of decorating and organizing. I popped into Z Gallerie to get some interior inspiration. Also! Their coffee table accessories are some of my faves! Find them HERE. Last but not least (one of my guilty pleasures actually) I headed into The Container Store. Organization GALORE. I could spend hours in that store. Having an organized home is so important to me and makes work/ life/ housekeeping so much more efficient. Their kitchen organization is some of the best and they have so many fun gadgets that you can’t pass up. Shop my choices here:
