New York Fashion Week Recap: The Shows
I made it to 9 shows at New York Fashion week and I wanted to share a taste of each with you! They are shown below in chronological order. Do you have a favorite!?
Milly
The interesting shapes, bold colors and pumping music made Milly one of my favorite shows. See the full collection and pre-order pieces straight off the runway HERE.
Francesca Liberatore
The avant garde patterns and dramatic proportions of the pieces at Francesca Liberatore left you excited and waiting to see what was coming down the runway next.
Nicole Miller
Nicole Miller killed it with this whimsical line. Her attention to detail and ability to draw together so many different looks blew be away.
Dan Liu
Dan Luis show was whimsical and romantic, with floral dresses and models walking to french melodies it almost felt like Paris.
Jill Stuart
I've always been a fan of Jill Stuart... and a neutral color palette. The flowing material, interesting shapes and muted colors left me wanting more.
Jenny Packham
WOW. I always loved Jenny Packham's gowns. But, the detail in her designs that walked down the runway blew me away. She presented 31 looks inspired by 31 different women and there's no way to decide which was best...
Vivienne Hu
Satin two piece sets and 90's style blazers donned the runway at Vivienne Hu. Her looks are perfect for any edge business woman.
Leanne Marshall
Amazing necklines, flowing silhouettes and beautiful muted colors had any woman who loves to get dressed up, drooling!
This NYFW was my first and I'll never forget it! Ever since I can remember, it has been my dream to be in one of those seats at the shows of New York Fashion Week. In my four days in New York I made it to 9 shows (shown below in chronological order) and it's tough to choose a favorite. From the detail in the beaded gowns at Jenny Packham to the interesting shapes and bold color palette at Milly, I loved it all. It's such a rush when the lights go from dim to bright, the music starts pumping and the models start strutting, now that I've had a taste of it, I don't think I'll ever get sick of this. Until next time, New York Fashion Week.
