Beat The Heat in a Maxi Dress
Sometimes, I have the same struggle with getting dressed in the scorching days of summer as I do in the freezing days of winter... It's hard to put together an outfit that you love and feel cute in, in extreme weather. On those hot days of summer (like we have had a lot recently) the light weight maxi dress comes in handy...
My go to outfit for any hot summer day where I can't be in the water or have to be (at least somewhat) presentable is a maxi dress. This specific dress is by Tularosa and is super light weight and breathable. Plus, the deep v and slit make it easy to stay cool. I paired this summer maxi with a straw sun hat to protect my face from the sun and to add a fun accessory to the outfit, of course! I wore a simple lace up flat sandal to keep the dress the focal point of the outfit. I felt super comfortable, stayed cool and felt cute! The perfect combo for any hot summer day!
