A Festive Holiday Table Scape for All!
There’s something so magical about the holiday season, but growing up Jewish I didn’t always feel like I could relate to the red and green of it all! So I’ve figured out my own way to put a festive spin and decorate for the holidays in a way that’s all-inclusive! One of my favorite brands, MacKenzie-Childs makes the most gorgeous, unique decor. They have stunning Christmas themed pieces, but also, the perfect neutral yet festive pieces for a little Jew like me! I think that a gold and white color scheme is the perfect way to celebrate the season without being holiday-specific…plus, it perfectly matches the rest of the decor in my home!
This past weekend, bae was in town & I wanted to set my table for a holiday date night! I have the perfect gold-plated MacKenzie Childs tableware that made for a beautiful setting. It’s gorgeous for any occasion, but extra cheery during the holiday season! Adding a placemat or runner automatically dresses up your table, and I especially love these gold polka dot Sweetbriar MacKenzie-Childs placemats. Lighting a few candles adds a touch of cozy and warmth! I used this beautiful MacKenzie-Childs hand-painted Tango Glass pitcher as the focal point of the table, which is a gorgeous piece all year round! If you’re interested in learning more about this charming brand and my emotional connection to it, make sure to check out this post.
I think the whole table was pulled together nicely by the new focus of my little dining space that I’m quite proud of - it’s an Ali Stone original! It’s an image I took in the little town of Atrani, Italy on a trip with my best friend 2.5 years ago. The memory makes me smile every time I look at it. Custom framing it was so easy with Framebridge, and I chose the most beautiful gold frame to top off my gold and white theme in the house!
In all honesty, this was my first time setting a beautiful table scape, and I’m so thrilled with how it came out. It made the evening so special and so cozy. These MacKenzie-Childs pieces are ones that I will hold onto and cherish forever. Of course, I couldn’t leave the table setting without a cold bottle of GH Mumm Champagne. It’s a celebration after all! I’m so looking forward to being able to host more and now know that I’ll be able to create a gorgeous table scape sure to impress!
