Transitioning Into Fall

It's hard to believe that Summer is coming to an end. It flies by every year and I for one am pretty sad to see it go. But, in all honesty... I absolutely love Fall,  except for the fact that it leads to Winter (yikes)! The main reason I love Fall? You probably guessed it... Fall dressing! Leather jackets, scarves, sweaters, cute hats and this year, my favorite shoe for Fall, the mule

Transitional dressing is really exciting for me. I love layering and actually putting together an outfit. In summer time I get a bit frustrated with getting dressed because when it's so hot, I only feel like wearing  shorts and a tank top or a sundress. It's tough to layer together a gorgeous outfit when it's 90 degrees out!!! (scroll down to shop this exact look)

Anyways! I'm looking forward to cooler temps that make me excited and inspired to create cozy fall outfits. I'm excited to layer skirts with long jackets, jeans with vests, dresses with tights and a moto jacket and finish all of that off with a great pair of mules. This particular pair is from Chinese Laundry and is so comfy!!! I love the mule because it's sophisticated, comfortable and the perfect transition into the new season without having to completely suffocate your feet in socks and boots quite yet!

Here, for an early Fall look, I paired my Chinese Laundry mules with a high waisted denim skirt, cropped sweater, silk bandana and wide brimmed hat. This look is so versatile and is something I could easily wear to a meeting or to dinner with the girls. Loose the hat and you have a great date night look too! Ok, Fall... Bring it on, I'm ready for ya!

What are you looking forward to wearing this Fall?
