How To Look Chic The Simplest Way Possible

Looking chic doesn’t have to be complicated! You never need to be overdone. My favorite chic outfit is simply jeans and a top. Yup, that’s it. Add a killer pair of shoes and a cute bag and you’ll be set to go! 

The first thing that is key to a chic simple look is the right top. I’ve actually been loving bodysuits too. I love them because you can always have a smooth tuck without having to worry about it moving around too much. In my opinion there's not much more classic than a tucked in top. Here I’m wearing the perfect bodysuit from Splendid. It’s the perfect mix of casual and put together. I love the slight off the shoulder and the long sleeves. The fit is great and it’s super comfortable. Splendid is one of my favorite brands for high quality, comfortable and chic basics.  The key to finding a chic top is having an unexpected detail. An off the shoulder top, a ruffle, or an asymmetric hemline are a few of my favorite details. 

The next step is finding a great fitting pair of jeans. I always opt for a high waisted pair because I think it adds some sophistication, helps define your waist and they suck in those love handles (yes, please). Finally, the shoes! I’ve been loving block heels. They’re super chic and still really comfortable. Here I opted for a pop of color with THESE fun red block heels from Steve Madden. Grab a simple bag and throw on some lipstick and you’ve got yourself a super simple and super chic look! Don’t overthink it and always remember, simplicity is chic.
