My Favorite Chicago Farmers Markets
Let’s stick to the topic of Summertime Chi this week! One of my favorite things to do in the summer is visit the local farmers markets. I like walking through with Obi, getting a smoothie for breakfast, picking up some fresh flowers and doing some grocery shopping. Putting on a cute sundress ain't so bad either! THIS DRESS is one of my favorites this Summer and is only $36!!! Since Summer is going by so quickly (doesn't it always!?) it's time to start hitting all of them!!! Lucky for us though, many of these markets go up until September or October!
To me, there’s something so charming about farmers markets and I love supporting local vendors and businesses. I would way rather get my veggies from locals rather than at food chains that don't source local products. So, in the Summer, I try to make it to a Farmer’s Market once a week (generally I go to Green City because I am able to walk there from home). Looking for a farmers market near you?
