A Perfect Peplum
We're sticking with the back to school theme today! A little outfit inspiration never hurts. Who doesn't love knowing what they're going to wear in the morning instead of standing and staring at your closet (who knows what I'm talking about)?! Looking back, I'm fairly certain I wore jeans practically every single day of school. So, I decided to start this outfit off with THIS pair of super soft, stretchy jeans. I paired them with THIS more feminine peplum top (both pieces from Alice and Wonder). I liked the idea of pairing a feminine top with a distressed jean to give the outfit just a tiny bit of an edge. I chose to wear super comfy espadrilles to keep this outfit a bit more on the summery side (please, Summer, don't go)! I had my base down but I felt like this outfit needed a little something extra.
I decided to play off the gold detailing on the buttons on the back of the top and go for an #ArmParty of gold jewelry! I started with THE WATCH, (a college graduation gift from my parents) on top of the David Yurman cuff that I always wear (it was my Bubby's), then I added my favorite Coordinates Collection cuff (a gift from Oren and a reminder of him right around my wrist) and my newest addition, my Buy Pieces Of Me cuff stamped with the trait of Confidence.
