Pajama Dressing
We've been seeing the trend of Pajama dressing for quite sometime now. I always thought it would be too hard to pull off because I was seeing it on people such as Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba and Kim Kardashian. That was until I was in Miami a few weeks back. I was walking through Bal Harbour and I saw a girl sitting in what I thought was a navy silk jumpsuit. I needed to know what it was, so I walked up to her, told her how great she looked and asked where in the world she found that amazing jumpsuit! She thanked me and proceeded to tell me it was actually a pajama set (literally, she was wearing pajamas). She had tucked the long sleeve top into the drawstring pants and tied them tight to show her waistline. She paired the navy silk PJs with off white heeled sandals and I couldn't get enough of her look. This is when I decided that I had to give pajama dressing a try once I found a look I felt comfortable in!
I recently found THIS equipment silk outfit and I've been having so much fun wearing it. It's the perfect casual, professional outfit without being boring! Take this look from the office with a pair of oxfords, to dinner with a pair of heels or to the grocery store with a pair of sneakers... this look can take you anywhere! I've also been loving wearing these pieces as separates. I've paired the top with jean shorts, white jeans and a high waisted pair of black trousers. I've also worn the pants with a white silk blouse, and a white cotton tank and sneakers for a super casual look. Once fall rolls around I'll pair the pants with a cropped sweater and leather moto jacket! What's better than spending the day as comfortable as if you were still in bed!?
