Love the taxi at the Langham!
Last night, I visited the gorgeous, Travelle Chicago at The Langham Hotel for a celebration to welcome their new chefs aboard! They had 4 stations, each with a signature cocktail (plus rosé and prosecco, of course) and tons of amazing passed apps! We're talkin' ceviche, sliders, grilled octopus, flatbreads and desert galore! It was a lovely, relaxing evening catching up with some lovely friends (and making lots of GIFs in the fun photo booth by Fox and Harrison) with a glass of prosecco in hand! Plus, live violinists who were playing instrumental versions of songs like Bad Romance... What's better than that!?
I wanted to go with a sophisticated yet playful look for this event because I had a feeling the attire would be everything from casual to all dolled up so I wanted to be somewhere in the middle. I chose to pair this amazing faux leather fringe skirt from a new line that I absolutely love called, N. Philanthropy (they're sold out in every size except XS but I linked some similar skirts below) with my go to silk tank from Aritzia, some Just The 2 Of Us Jewelry and black pumps. I felt dressed enough but also felt really fun and playful with the movement of this skirt and I was really happy with my chosen ensamble!
