Casual Stripes
This week my legs saw the sun for the first time in months! I'm so happy it's shorts season again (finally)! Winter in Chicago feels like a lifetime! Anyways, one of my favorite Summer combos is shorts and a long sleeve top. Here, I paired my favorite pair of Levi jean shorts (I could probably use a new pair, this is their 5th summer!) with THIS super fun, lightweight striped lace up top from Madewell and a comfy pair of fringe Jcrew sandals (the tall version is sold out but the low top version is super cute: HERE)
THESE shorts are probably the most worn item in my closet... They're so perfect for the long sleeve shorts combo like I'm wearing here. I also love wearing them on cooler summer days or nights with a sweater and tennies. I'm a big fan of dressing up super casual pieces and pairing these jean shorts with a heel and a blazer as well, super fun for Summer! THIS top is really easy to wear too! I love this top with white jeans (THESE are my favorite pair) and also think it would look super cute with a denim skirt (like THIS ONE)!
