Giving the (literal) cold shoulder.
Last night I went to a fun happy hour at STK with some wonderful blogger gals. You all know, I'm usually dressed pretty simply. But, I wanted to switch it up from jeans and the classic black silk blouse. I've totally jumped on board these cold shoulder tops. You've seen me in them before (here and here) but always worn very casually... and coincidentally, with flares. hmm... Anyways! I wanted to switch it up. I recently found this silk cold shoulder top (thanks to the lovelies at Maje) and thought it would be super fun for the transition into Spring and it happened to be perfect for happy hour with some girlfriends!
Pre happy hour, my good friend Blake who writes, Blake Von D and I spent a couple (super fun) hours at South Loop Loft. (Big thanks to Blake for snapping these pics of me while we were there!) I've been dying to get into this space for months and yesterday was finally the day! "South Loop Loft is an acclaimed resource for fine vintage furniture, home décor, and lifestyle accessories." It's located in the West Town neighborhood of downtown Chicago and it's UNREAL. It's a must see for anyone who loves interiors, home decor and gorgeous eclectic finds from all over the world. The space is stunning, the finds are epic and the owner is SO sweet! There are open Saturdays from 11-5 or by appointment during the week. Scroll down for an image of the whole loft!
I'm excited to wear this top all Spring and Summer! I'm thinking it'll look super cute with white jeans, tucked into my high waisted Levi's and even fun with distressed jean shorts and sandals for summer! I've linked some of my favorite cold shoulder tops below... Which is your favorite!?
xx Ali
