Woodbury Lane

One of my favorite things about blogging is meeting new people and getting connected with like minded woman all over. Recently, (through my blog) I was connected with Katelyn, the girl-boss behind the blog, Katelyn Now and the online shop, Woodbury Lane. When Katelyn reached out to me and proposed the idea of being Woodbury Lane’s first “it girl” I was beyond flattered and of course said yes! After one shoot scheduled in Milwaukee being cancelled due to insane storms, we met in Chicago along with the amazing photographer, Tara Schupe. Literally, after Tara shot the first frame outside, it started completely down pouring... Tara was staying at the Palmer House hotel, a beautiful hotel in the Loop. We made an audible and completely changed the vibe of the shoot when we decided to shoot inside the hotel. The weather did clear up after a few hours and we were able to shoot outside a bit too. Even though it wasn’t what we planned, I think all three of us are totally stoked with the turnout. Tara captured the clothing and the environment beautifully.
