i used to be punk rock...

For our last shoot in LA, I wore this t-shirt that says: "I used to be punk rock. and other lies." I couldn't help but love it. Did anyone else go through that middle school, wannabe punk rock, heavy eye makeup and metal music phase? No? Just me? Well... I was totally a wannabe but only that. So, I felt this shirt was just too perfect. Add in the angsty feeling Alex was trying to get me to have (so unsuccessfully) in these photos and there you have it. A girl who so used to want to be punk rock re-living her fake teenage angst for one quick blog shoot. I'll have to try and find some horrible horrible middle school photos to show you guys one day....
