The BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've made a LOT of chocolate chip cookies in my life. But, I've never made a recipe that I thought was anything super special... until now. You guys know I don't often post recipes, but this is one I just HAD to share.
About 2 weeks ago, Oren and I were craving chocolate cookies and I was so not in the mood to make another disappointing batch. So, I put the pressure on Oren. I searched "chocolate chip cookies" on Pinterest, and handed him the results; "pick one!" Who would've thought that out of the thousands of recipes to choose from, Oren would have picked the best one (I'm willing to bet on that).
In the last 2 weeks, I have baked 7, yes, 7 batches of these cookies. (5 for hanukkah parties and 2 for ourselves). I think almost everyone who ate them said they needed the recipe. So, here we are!
