Paris Fashion Week: Outfit Inspo

I can’t believe I’m writing these words but here we go… I’m going to Paris Fashion Week!!!! I’ve been to nervous to share before now because travel restrictions are changing so rapidly, I knew things could change in a moment and that would cancel our trip. But… we’re less than 48 hours away now so I think (hope) were golden! I’ll definitely be sharing the reason we’re going and everything else on Instagram so make sure to follow along there!

In the meantime, let’s talk about the thing that’s felt like an impossible task- planning outfits!!!! French women alone are SO chic but throw in all the best dressed women from around the world and you’ve got me… OVERWHELMED! I think I know the direction I’m taking my PFW style in so let me share what my favorite looks and ideas are!

  1. Slouchy suiting: I’m LIVING for these menswear style suiting looks. THIS DESIGNER makes some of my favorite blazers. I wore one of hers over the weekend in SF and y’all went nuts for it! Don’t get me started on how hard it is to find well fitting trousers though! I didn’t pull the trigger on THESE but am truly crushing. Victoria Beckham is just too chic.

  2. Leather leather leather: Something about leather is just so dreamy! Doesn’t need to be real though, THIS BRAND makes the most buttery soft vegan leather pieces and each one is just better than the next. I also have a thing for a leather pant. Always on the hunt for some timeless pairs! Who remembers THIS PAIR from Veronica Beard that I wore for a recent shoot!?

  3. Elevated casual: I’ve realized that my Paris outfits don’t have to be fancy, they just has to be elevated. Think sleek hair, great accessories, well fitting pieces, chunky knits, matching sets and structured bags. THIS LINK has tons of gorgeous things in this category!

  4. A bold bag: Y’all know I dress on the neutral spectrum. I don’t often incorporate color but I’m loving the look of a bold bag with a neutral outfit. I’m obsessed with the Paco Rabanne bags (I may or may not have ordered one for Paris) as well as THIS BRANDS unique and sleek bags and THIS BRANDS colors and sizes bags!

  5. Bold Gold Accessories: What’s not to love about some chunky gold jewelry! Adds that perfect pop. I’m thinking a super chunky gold necklace with a sleek white button down would be CHIC. Also love THESE PIECES and the Neo Necklace by THIS BRAND is a DREAM!

  6. Can never go wrong with all black: I loved the above outfit and definitely want to replicate something like it. All black but make it funky. An oversized blazer + mini skirt combo? I think yes!

  7. Monochromatic moment: Not much beats a great monochromatic look! Can you even with the above olive look!? WOW! A few of my favorite, grailed brands that do monochrome like none other are Lapointe and Sablyn. Constantly inspired by those pieces and always trying to replicate that vibe for less $$.

Ok ok… now that I’ve written it all down, let’s hope I can accomplish this chic/French/ effortless vibe I’m going for! can’t wait to take y’all along to Paris with me!!! Wish me luck and pray my suitcase can stay under 50 lbs!
